We pride ourselves on being a Gold Badge Breeder for the Goldendoodle Association of North America. Being apart of GANA means that we hold ourselves to a higher level of health testing on our dogs that ensures maintaining optimum health for years to come.
The Goldendoodle Association of North America guides breeders to a common goal of practicing and maintaining predicable coat types, overall health as well as conformation and breed quality temperaments.
As a member of a breed associaition we are required to perform specific health testing on all of our breeding dogs to ensure quality care of our dogs and puppies is at the top of our priority.

This means we are required to have OFA Hips, Elbows, Cardiac, Patellas and Eyes done on all of our breeding dogs prior to them being bred and submitted to the Orthopedic Foundation of Animals for official grading to ensure quality breeding dogs.
OFA Health Testing
These type of measurements can only be done under the hands of a licensed DVM and sedation. In addition, multiple different views (distraction and compression) are used to determine the health and precision of accuracy into the joint laxity.
This tool of testing allows for us breeders to detect OA (Osethoarthritis) and CHD (Canine Hip Dysplasia) in dogs prior to breeding them and to make informed and imperative decisions into the future of our breeding dogs.
Pennhips data is compared to thousands of other cases to access the amount of joint laxity compared to others of the same breed, as well as age.
